时态

Learn about present, past, and future tenses in English.

解释 Explanation

Tenses show when an action happens. English has 12 basic tenses.

Present Tenses:

  • Simple Present: I walk. (habits, facts)
  • Present Continuous: I am walking. (now, ongoing)
  • Present Perfect: I have walked. (past + present relevance)
  • Present Perfect Continuous: I have been walking. (ongoing + result)

    • Past Tenses:

  • Simple Past: I walked. (completed action)
  • Past Continuous: I was walking. (ongoing in past)
  • Past Perfect: I had walked. (earlier past)
  • Past Perfect Continuous: I had been walking. (earlier ongoing)

    • Future Tenses:

  • Simple Future: I will walk. (future facts)
  • Future Continuous: I will be walking. (ongoing in future)
  • Future Perfect: I will have walked. (completed by future time)
  • Future Perfect Continuous: I will have been walking. (ongoing until future)

    • Time Markers:

  • Simple Present: always, usually, every day
  • Present Continuous: now, right now, currently
  • Simple Past: yesterday, last week, ago
  • Future: tomorrow, next week, soon
